CAPSLE’s membership is a very effective network of people involved and interested in legal issues affecting education. This includes lawyers, educators, school board officials, representatives of teachers’ federations and support staff, unions, school trustees, principals and others. Membership in CAPSLE will expand your current network of resources.
Conference
The
annual conference provides an excellent opportunity for CAPSLE members to meet colleagues from across the country. Scheduled in the spring in St. John’s one year, Victoria the next year, and another city in between the year after that, the conference provides participants the chance to review and debate current issues in law and education, to form professional relationships, and to engage in outstanding professional development activities. Conference speakers include leading educators, lawyers, and judges.
Conference Papers
Papers presented at the conference are published in the
conference proceedings and provide a useful resource and reference for educators and lawyers alike. CAPSLE members as well as conference participants receive a FREE copy of the most recently published conference papers.
Our Newsletter
CAPSLE Comments is our
quarterly newsletter. It contains thoughtful articles and timely items of interest to members. The newsletter offers a vehicle for easy access to some of the current interesting local and national developments in education law.
